Our tropical hardwood We are totally against illegal logging and deforestation and only use timber for our prefabricated wooden houses and pavilions that comes from approved Indonesian government sources.
Rainforest devastation in Kalimantan caused by illegal logging. Our wood sourcing manager,Bobby Supratman has been brought up in Kalimantan and has witnessed huge rainforest devastation there which has totally wiped out huge areas of natural habitat causing species like the orangutan to nearly become extinct.
Orangutan in Kalimantan All our timber is purchased directly from Kalimantan, Irian Jaya or Sulawesi only from logging companies who respect the natural habitat by only logging in government approved areas and contributing to restoring damaged ecosystems by planting trees on land where trees have been cut down.
